As a Technical Product owner, I have had the opportunity to work with and manage very smart individuals both on the development team and product team.

I have worked on multiple exciting projects for various companies in various industries. I have translated business requirements into features and user stories, owned and managed product backlogs and outlined the clear acceptance criteria to communicate ‘Definition of Done’ . 

I am an excellent team player that is very effective in building and maintaining relationship with stakeholders to effect change. 

I have deep understanding on how to manage a scrum team and have also coached other product owners and development team on agile methodology. 

I performed extensive research into my products, stakeholders, technology and business domain  to enable me create clear concise user stories and answer any questions that might arise from the development team or stakeholders.

Some of the products I have owned are:

• A mobile application for a fintech company: In my position as a Technical product owner I managed a team and coordinated with business partners towards the successful enhancement of a financial institution’s mobile payment platform for a better user experience. I developed Epics, features, user stories to update the mobile application’s backend code from Guice to Hilt due to vulnerabilities in the previous programming language. I was also instrumental in agile ceremonies like PI planning, sprint planning, sprint demos, retrospective.
• A web application for a healthcare company: In my position as a Technical product Manager, I led a 10-member cross functional team to build an healthcare application that shows patients’ health conditions analytics and doctors’ performance to improve it. The team interpreted health codes like CDA,LOINC etc. and performed some data aggregation to show patient health analytics on the application. I also coached and mentored members to the development and business teams. I also met with internal and external stakeholders to update them on project timelines and assure them we are on track for on-time delivery.
• A web application for an entertainment company: As a Technical product owner, I led a multi-disciplinary 7-person team to design, develop, and launch entertainment web and mobile app where users can download music. I translated business requirements into user stories and owned the project from the discovery phase to the release. I also worked with the team to fix bugs that arose after MVP launch, prioritizing the bugs from low priority to high priority to determine the order they will be resolved.
• Financial institution – I championed a project to upgrade a financial institution’s ATM machine to enable users withdraw funds with their fingerprint if their ATM card is not available. I collaborated with dev team leaders and business leaders to come up with both technical and business requirements to upgrade the bank’s ATM machine to using people’s fingerprint as a method of authentication.
• Financial Institution – In my position as a product owner intern, I worked with the team that upgraded the bank’s ATM card from regular ATM card that work locally to Mastercard that can work internationally. I worked with other product owners, system engineers, program managers, developers, QA engineers to define technical user stories
