Internationalized (i18n) all current and future mobile apps. This involved designing a new i18n workflow for our developers, creating Dart CLI tools, and VSCode & IntelliJ plugins to assist in mapping strings into translation assets. Translation validation is checked during CI/CD and all translations are done professionally by a third-party.

Wrote an automated end-to-end testing framework using Patrol, an enhancer to Flutter’s integration test package. This helped reduce large tests consisting of hundreds of lines of code to dozens of lines of readable and clear testing workflows. This framework also helped organize our integration tests into reusable components and establish a pattern for writing future tests.

Created an Apple Watch companion app using native frameworks to display delivery info and GPS data in a “hands-free” manner to help improve delivery driver experience.

Advocated for and established the use of Widgetbook in our apps. This tool helps us more easily create and review UI that may be dependent on layers of state or API data.

Delivered an app that our warehouses use to scan, sort, and audit shipments. I was core to this project being completed on time, and I traveled to LAX to launch this app. This involved working with Zebra scanners and printers and Bluetooth devices.

Lead a small team in the design and implementation of features for a cross-platform web and mobile app called Artful Agenda. The tech stack included Flutter, React, and Laravel. Hosting was on AWS.

Directly worked with the CEO involved in creating the product roadmap, managing beta users, and incorporating immediate feedback into the development cycle.

Designed a NB-IoT device bulk provisioning architecture using the AWS CLI to bulk provision a list of devices into AWS IoT Core. The devices are also provisioned into a Neo4j graph database with geospatial query capabilities. This project exposed me to Terraform, end-to-end IoT deployments in AWS, and the MQTT and LWM2M protocols.

Developed a mobile application MVP using Flutter. Some of the app’s technical features utilize user authentication, a noSQL database backend to store user information and profiles, device services such as geolocation and camera, email support, and maps.
