Key accomplishments

Starting from 2018 I was responsible for g2a.com e-commerce. My main objective was to drive high level of conversion rate for B2C Clients.

Starting form 2018 together with several product teams I was responsible for redesigning G2A.com e-commerce. We started simple – asked our customers what works for them and found some low hanging fruits. By solving those small problems we were able to drive conversion up. In long run we realized that we need to “recreate” full feeling that our side gives to our users. We started with cart, product page, new engine for search and presentation of results. All fallowed with A/B testing and customer focused research. Final step came in 2023 when we invested more time in our Mobile App and Home Page. But here it was not only redesign to drive higher results but also a new way of working. By my guidance new department was created : Platform Management. Team of specialist that had one purpose. Use what it product can already offer, combine it with marketing sales targets and deliver value to our customers. After 6 months of cooperation in this way we see first good results.

Most of the time I was responsible for B2C. G2A.com is a global company selling product worldwide. I had a pleasure to see how differently customers from Germany reacts for the same product that USA so loved. How much time LATAM spend on our page in comparison to Polish customers.

After those several years I left company with 150-170% increase in conversion level (I’m not allowed to pass specific date here), higher Average order value and number of items in each transaction, products based on data. This is my legacy.

Process of creation and solving problems was part of my every day job. Looking for optimization. Identifying pain points for our clients. UX Research.

Together with IT Leader we talked how to reduce time we need to create frontend content and at the same time have it under control. Then “Horizon” idea was born. Internal ecosystem that allowed all 20 different product teams to reuse and manage already created components. That allowed us to reduce time to market, add more data approach to each component (f.ex. automatic events gathering solution) and start adding more and more “bricks”. When I try to share more information about Horizon I always compare it to Lego bricks. Each time you buy new set (develop new component) you are not only getting one set but option to combine it with other sets. At the end we have a lot of ready components that we can build new pages solutions on it. By not creating new ones for each page we can more easily measure it performance, keeping the right UX UI and customer feeling about it.

Main metrics:
Conversion and micro conversion – by every sprint, implementation of new solution we were checking impact on user conversion. By A/B test we compare different presentation of the same element, added more content, reduced information, and so on.

AOV – by building cross sale and up sale solutions we were able to increase this metric. Bundles, limited stock, limited time, discount codes, recommendation algorithms.

REVENUE – by verifying margin from different products, customer behavior on  each market, how big is customer valet we started to use easy personalization tactics. Offering different product per market, using different cross /up sale tactics, different pricing.
