Key accomplishments

  • Founded Tech-enabled personalised publishing as a category-disruptor in India through Merlinwand. Some achievements include – the company named as one of the 500 fastest growing D2C companies in India by Yourstory, I have been named among the emerging Business leaders by Business India magazine, record time from ideation to product launch (180 days), received seed funding at $~1M valuation from US based investors and many more.
  • In almost 90% of my career, I have joined startups leading them to High-growth companies (2 out of 4 startups I joined turned unicorn and 1 got acquired). All the startups built Enterprise-level software products.
  • Handled and Led all Data Product Teams at Phenom which were instrumental in enabling 6 of the 8 products in the Phenom Product Suite. Introduced cutting edge product features which led to an increase of revenues by 3x ($30M to $87M).
  • Led the SureIT product team to build a Highway Tolling Product from scratch for NTTA (North Texas Toll Authority) in record time of 18 months, the project cost being $144M. The capacity of tolling increased to 20M transactions a day from the earlier 100K, apart from introducing video-based and OCR data processing.
  • Built the Gainsight Data Products from scratch and achieved a revenue of over $2M from those Products (Reporting & Analysis, Usage Connectors & Big Data Platform).
  • Many achievements in InsideView, the main ones being started the Data Engineering Team, worked on industry-leading IP using NLP, worked on initially and later led teams to build 3 foundational products, bringing in revenues of $35M/year (30% of revenue) when I left.
