Key accomplishments

  • Topology (LogicMonitor) – Through research I identified that LogicMonitor’s Topology Mapping had significant usability problems and I convinced leadership to invest in the redesign and re-engineering of the feature.  The new design was a major success with customers due to the improved usability, visual design, and increased functionality.  As a direct result of the redesign, customer adoption of Topology Mapping has more than doubled and Topology Mapping is now used throughout the LogicMonitor product.
  • Research (LogicMonitor) – I ran a long term Foundational Research program that aggregated qualitative (interviews, contextual inquiry), quantitative (path analysis, A/B testing) research, and engagement with stakeholders to build an accurate representation of our users and their goals.  The Personas, Journey Maps, and Workflows that I created based on the research were adopted by UX, Product Strategy, Sales, and Marketing. 
  • Business Intelligence (Accruent) – While a designer at Accruent I designed a cross product BI tool that resulted in increased investment in BI by the company and was used to drive sales and customer engagement. When I switched roles to Product Manager I co-owned the management of the new BI features and partnered with Sales and Marketing to present the BI features to customers.
  • Integrated Development Environment (IBM) – I designed a new IDE and other automation tools for IBM SPSS Statistics that replaced an old and difficult to use script editor.  I took on multiple roles for the project including Product Owner, UX Designer, QA, and Technical Writer.  The new IDE and automation tools increased sales of IBM SPSS Statistics by 40% and was the basis of a new line of related products.
